Flying Fox Valley

Located in the Scenic Rim 40 minutes from the Gold Coast and one hour from Brisbane.

The property itself is spread over 120 acres with natural springs and a flowing creek into several different dams. In an attempt to have minimal negative impact on the environment and live sustainably, the property uses rainwater only and no pesticides. The property is currently a working hobby farm with sheep, boer goats, chickens, cows and horses with fruit trees and vegetable patch to sustain the current owners.

Currently the property is open to book for camping only but will have eco cabins ready for late 2026.  Each of the cabins will be completely private and not visible to each other. They will be off grid to minimise the impact on the environment and have wood fired outdoor spa baths. Each will be surrounded by a minimum of 1 acre of cleared grassed land with beautiful views down through the valley. The perfect getaway for couples looking to reconnect with each other in a peaceful, private location.

Gavin also uses the location as inspiration for his bespoke creations using horse shoes, repurposed metals and his forge.
